NILDS, YIAGA TO PARTNER ON LEGISLATIVE AND DEMOCRATIC REFORMS.

The Director General of National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman has expressed the Institute’s commitment to partner with Yiaga Africa on ensuring upward democratic and legislative reforms by improving capacity of the Legislature and deepening legislative procedures.

He noted this during a courtesy visit to the Institute’s permanent site by members of the Yiaga Africa team, led by the Executive Director, Samson Itodo.

Itodo commended the Institute’s training and capacity building initiative for the legislature and expresses its commitment to work with NILDS to achieve a structural institutional partnership to further improve the capacity of the legislative and democratic institutions.

Professor Sulaiman assures  the team that NILDS has the resources to partner with Yiaga Africa on civic education as well as on democratic and legislative reforms to further deepen democracy and parliamentary excellence.
